Billy Don Grant of Quincy Tomato Co. and Gadsden Tomato Co. and
and William Maxwell, president of the Gadsden Tomato Growers Association
have accepted appointments to the Florida Farmers Inc. board of directors,
Chairman Paul DiMare has announced. The organization is an advocate for
Florida winter vegetable farmers and was established in 1996 in response to
U.S. trade policies that encouraged more imports of foreign-grown produce.
